Domestic Violence and "Stand your ground" act

  1. read through the article, i still think that if she would have taken every step prior to the fatal shooting maybe she wouldnt have been charged with this. domestic violence is a huge issue and the moment it happens the person should report it no matter how minor the incident might be. If she would have had the back ground proof of the violence maybe thins would have helped her

  2. I don't think it (stand you ground law) would have helped her because I think she thought throw the whole situation and got her permit and took classes she just used the law to try and justified the act of shooting her husband.

  3. O defintley thought that the girl in the article should have gotten off. It was a fifty fifty situation with her because of her past. She definatly needed a better lawyer because it was obvious that this man was going to hurt her.
